Peter Quinlan SC's
"I Knew You Were Trouble"
Ethical Lessons from the works of Taylor Swift
Peter Quinlan SC is a barrister practising from Francis Burt Chambers in Perth. Peter practices widely in medical law, professional negligence and discipline, administrative and constitutional law, planning and heritage (including native title) and general commercial litigation. He was appointed silk in 2010, and is currently President of the WA Bar Association.
Taylor Swift is a singer-songwriter and American sweetheart. While at first blush, her lyrics strike no obvious chord with the Legal Profession Conduct Rules 2010 (WA), a closer analysis reveals much upon which a legal professional may ruminate.
Peter's presentation will be followed by drinks and light refreshments.
The event was sponsored by KBE Human Capital and Centia, and supported by DLA and Women Lawyers Association. Proceeds will be donated to CASE for Refugees.
